Annual Rotary Mid-Columbia Duck Race brings in $200,000

Thousands of little yellow rubber duckies were set afloat on the Columbia River Oct.

The 23rd Annual Rotary Mid-Columbia Duck Race raised nearly $200,000, which will be split among 75 area nonprofits.

Tickets were $5 each and the fastest duck was owned by Kirby Amacker of Richland, who won the grand prize — a new Toyota Camry from Toyota of Tri-Cities.
