Clearly Lasik has a new name and new location in the Tri-Cities.
The company is now King Lasik and has moved from its Tucannon Avenue location to 8011 W. Quinault Ave. in Kennewick.
According to the Benton County property listings, Quinault Real Estate LLC bought the space for $600,000 in May 2011. The new building is 5,569 sq. ft. and consists of two office buildings. King Lasik will be lease out the office space next door, Jeneane Conway, center director said.
“We’re going to have room to grow and there’s going to be room for everyone to be able to do their job more efficiently,” Conway said.
MH Construction General Contractor owner Mike Holstein was hired to do the more than $200,000 in tenant improvements on the site.
“It was brick and mortar when we purchased it,” Conway said. “It was fun to pick out every detail. It’s definitely a fun process.”
The new location is less then a mile from the previous facility making it easy for regular patients to find.
“Obviously patient care is our number one priority, it’s going to be more comfortable for the patients as well,” she said.
King Lasik employs five people at its Kennewick location and has offices in Seattle, Portland and in Canada. The office can be reached at the same number 374-3880.
