Construction for additional storage space will begin soon at Twin City Foods Inc., in Pasco for an additional storage building.

The food processing plant has needed the extra storage area for some time, said Mick Lovgreen, Twin City’s vice president of operations.

“Some of our facilities are just getting there ahead of time,” he said.

Work consists of adding an estimated 30,000-sq.-ft. warehouse to house packing materials and a maintenance shop.

“We were storing things outside that needed to be inside,” Lovgreen said. “Basically cardboard storage and parts.
