Plastic Injection Molding Inc.
Plastic Injection Molding Inc., which makes custom molded plastic parts for regional and international manufacturers, including components for small tools, instrumentation, agricultural products, prosthetics, consumer products and more, expanded into a 28,000-square-foot manufacturing plant with 4,000-square-foot mezzanine at the back of its existing building.
In March, the company began moving in after receiving its occupancy permit on Feb. 28.
The business is owned by Ken Williams and serves clients such as Cadwell Labs, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Fluor Hanford, Rhino Camera Gear and Leupold.
The $3.1 million expansion at 2695 Battelle Blvd. in Richland allowed the company to add a 400-ton plastic injection machine, expanding its capabilities to manufacture larger items. It also provides added space for more tooling machines to create its own molds.
Dan Sanders of Construction Management Specialist of Richland was the contractor.
