Hacking Biology to Produce Energy and Fuels

June 16 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Can our daily lives run on electricity obtained completely from renewable and sustainable energy sources? Do our transportation needs require burning gas and oil? We are working on methods to increase the impact of solar and wind energy by creating simple, clean, and renewable ways to convert excess energy to electricity that we can all use. Learn how we can use biology, chemistry, and even virtual reality to help shape a cleaner future.

Joseph Laureanti will uncover the answers to these questions and more during Pacific Northwest National Laboratory’s Community Science & Technology Virtual Seminar Series. Please register here: https://pnnl.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_vUdJ0pvlT7-v1hyju_7_3w
