The 60th annual Tri-City Water Follies event roars into town this weekend, with hydroplane races taking place from July 25-27.

Testing and races on the Columbia River run between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26, and between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday, July 27.

The STCU Over-the-River Air Show is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. all three days.

Attendees can watch the races from Columbia Park in Kennewick, primarily from the Highway 240 and Fruitland Street entrances, and from Pasco, where there will be parking signs off Sylvester Street. The races take place west of the Highway 395 bridge, or the blue bridge.

Tickets are $75 for a three-day pass; $60 for a weekend pass, valid Saturday and Sunday; $30 on Saturday; $35 on Sunday; and free for children under 13. Parking is $10.
