Event Description

The Columbia Basin Development League (League) and Presenting Sponsor, the Washington State Potato Commission, are excited to announce the League’s Conference and 60th Annual Meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, October 29, at ATEC in Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, WA.

The Conference begins at 8:30 a.m. and runs until 4:00 p.m., featuring a comprehensive agenda designed to inform and engage stakeholders across the region, with a focus on delivering Project updates, reviewing key initiatives, and covering topics of critical interest.  This year’s conference theme is “The Power of the Columbia:  A Confluence of Multiple Interests, Multiple Benefits.  

Key topics to be addressed during the Conference include:

  • Honoring a 60-year legacy
  • Updates from the Columbia Basin Irrigation Districts and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation
  • Update on the Odessa Ground Water Replacement Program
  • Federal policy implications for the Columbia Basin Project
  • Direction for the future

In addition to the Conference, the 60th Annual Meeting will provide an opportunity to announce the results of the League’s 2025 board elections and acknowledge the outstanding contributions made by individuals who have played a pivotal role in advancing advocacy and outreach for the Columbia Basin Project.
