December 6, 2024 | 1:00pm-2:30pm Speaker: Tammy Pattillo, M.S., Gerontologist, Certified Cognitive Stimulation Instructor In person at Richland Public Library | 955 Northgate, Richland Join us for an engaging Cognitive Stimulation Education Class with Tammy Pattillo, ms, a gerontologist and certified cognitive stimulation instructor. This class will cover the definition and techniques of cognitive stimulation, emphasizing its importance in combating cognitive decline and fostering social engagement. Designed for older adults, individuals with mild cognitive impairments, and caregivers, participants will learn about the benefits of improved memory and emotional well-being. Enjoy hands-on demonstrations of fun activities like brain games and group discussions, followed by a Q&A session to discuss practical applications and best practices.
