Event Description
Join us on Monday, January 15, outside T Building on the CBC Pasco Campus at 5:30 pm as we celebrate the legacy of Dr. King during the 2023 Martin Luther King Jr. Bell Ringing Ceremony.
Event starts outside near the MLK statue for flower presentation, bell ringing, and candlelight march. The rest of the program has been adjusted to take place inside the Gjerde Center due to the expected cold temperatures outside.
The H building will be open at 5pm if people would like to stay inside. After the ceremony, an art gallery with historical facts about civil rights and African American artist work in front of the Gjerde Center. We'll also have light refreshments, a photo booth, and the I have a dream wall where guests can write their dreams for the future. A voter registration table and Omega Alpha Alpha sock donation table are also scheduled to be in the space.
