Event Description

The Tri-Cities Autism Coalition is excited to announce a local endeavor aimed at serving individuals and families impacted by autism in the greater Tri-Cities, WA area. The number of individuals diagnosed with autism has tremendously increased to 1 in 36 children in the United States, and there is a lack of resources and services available. Impacted individuals are often left being placed on waiting lists for the much-needed therapies on average from six months to a year. Local families are often isolated as they navigate a complex system of diagnostics, treatments, therapies, and educational tools. This free event is being planned to help address those needs and we need your help to bring awareness and education to the community.

We held our first event in April 2024 which brought in over 2,500 spectators and are now planning for the next event with an anticipatory attendance of 5,000 people! This event is free of charge! If you want to support this event, you can donate on our website.

  • Experience fun activities specially tailored to individuals with sensory needs
  • Obtain information and understanding of local resources and therapies available
  • Reduce the isolation by encountering the different support systems
  • Increase autism awareness and education
  • Connect with community vendors and service providers
  • Participate in the ceremonial walk

This is the only event of this kind specific to the Autistic community in the Tri-Cities region. To make this event successful, we need help from community partners who share our vision and want to help local community members along this journey. We would love to have you participate by adding a monetary gift for this event.
