
Nonprofit leaders, board members, philanthropists, and advocates of the greater good are invited to the Central Washington Conference for the Greater Good on June 11, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Heritage University in Toppenish, WA. This annual event is designed to help nonprofit leaders navigate an uncertain landscape, search for funds, rally supporters, and advocate for their missions while keeping their teams together. The 2025 conference theme is “Connected Roots. Collective Power.” and reflects the strength we gain from working together. Join nonprofit peers and experts to explore strategies for fundraising, volunteer management, executive leadership sustainability, community resilience, and more. The conference will feature keynote speaker Rick Griffin, who will share insights on resilience-building, setting the stage for a powerful day of learning and connection. Additionally, a roster of experts including local leaders will lead several workshops including Ted Bilich, Meena Das, Matt Fairbank, Emily Jameson, Brittany Kirk, Renee Kollman, Kris McRea, David Montgomery, Gabriel Muñoz, Bruce Tabb, Rebecca Zanatta, and Alessandra Zielinski. They will share their valuable insights and expertise to address current opportunities and challenges. About the Keynote Speaker, Rick Griffin
Rick Griffin is an expert in the neuroscience of resilience and burnout. He is the Master Trainer for Community Resilience Initiative (CRI), the nation’s first community resilience network. Mr. Griffin holds a master’s degree in education and uses his expertise to develop innovative content and deliver engaging presentations. He speaks to thousands of groups from all over the country and is widely recognized for his work with trauma-informed practices. In this interactive keynote session, he will share insights into how stress affects the brain and how we can transform it into a tool for growth.
