Arts Center Task Force (ACTF) is inviting the public to a Community Town Hall Listening Session on Tuesday, June 17, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Richland Public Library (Conference Room B). This event is free and open to all residents of Tri-Cities.
This Town Hall offers an open, welcoming space for residents of the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas to share their input on what a permanent performing arts center could look like in our community. Following the recent ballot measure and ACTF’s May Gala, this event continues the organization’s broader listening campaign — designed to elevate community voices and build a shared vision for the future.
“We know that the arts matter deeply to our region,” said Blake Smith, Arts Center Task Force’s Executive Director. “We’re here to listen — to gather ideas, concerns, and hopes from across the community as we plan next steps.”
The Town Hall will include short introductory remarks and a variety of ways for participants to engage — including open conversation, written prompts, and interactive feedback activities. Whether you're an artist, parent, educator, student, or simply a supporter of the arts, your perspective is valued and encouraged.
Members of the media are welcome to attend. Interview opportunities will be available before and after the session with ACTF board members and community stakeholders.
