Why a Backpack Drive?

For many local families, the rising cost of school supplies can make it difficult to send their children back to school fully prepared. A simple backpack can make a world of difference for a student’s confidence and academic success.

Our goal is to provide new, unused backpacks to students who may otherwise go without. By offering a small but essential piece of their school toolkit, we hope to give these students a stronger start to the year and remind them that their community is behind them.

How the Drive Works

From July 21 through August 15, we’ll be collecting only new, unused backpacks at our Kennewick and Walla Walla offices during business hours. This effort is powered by the generosity of our staff, clients, and community members. At the conclusion of the campaign, we’ll coordinate with each school district and other student support services to distribute the backpacks directly to the students who need them most.

Donation Window: July 21 – August 15 Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
