Journal of Business selects its 2026 Young Professionals

The Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business is excited to announce this year’s Young Professionals winners. 

Please meet the Class of 2026:

  • Evelyn Martinez-Ostrom, Washington State University Tri-Cities.

  • Robert Tyler Pearson, HFG Trust.
  • Kyli Placke, Hanford Home Health.
  • Kevin Sliger, Ben Franklin Transit.
  • Mike Thorn, Thorn Construction Group.
  • Joseph Thornton, Big Bro Joe Foundation.
  • Cora Whitney, Malek + Malek Attorneys.
  • Austin Wingle, Visit Tri-Cities.

This year’s honorees will be recognized at an event from 4-6 p.m. May 14 at Zintel Creek Golf Club, 314 N. Underwood St., Kennewick. Tickets for the event cost $40 and are now available at tcjournal.biz/yp.

The honorees also will be featured in a special supplement in the Journal’s May edition. 

This is the 19th year the Journal has recognized our community’s Young Professionals who distinguish themselves in their careers, and make a difference through charity work, leadership and community involvement. 

The winners were selected by the Journal news team from a group of nominations received over the past month.
