Looking to become a better leader in 2024? Or perhaps you want to learn another language, dig into psychology or study history?

Thanks to our Tri-City libraries, there are plenty of titles to consider checking out if you’re looking to learn more in the new year or if you have plans for self-improvement. Our libraries have shared their 10 most popular nonfiction titles checked out in 2023 in both print and audiobook formats.

Books on building habits, leadership skills and finances are some of the most popular, as well as memoirs. “The Boys in the Boat” by Daniel James Brown, “Dare to Lead” by Brene Brown and “Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI” by David Grann are all among the top 10 of both the Mid-Columbia Libraries and the Richland Public Library.

Mid-Columbia Libraries has 12 branch libraries to serve residents of Benton, Franklin and parts of Adams counties.

Richland Public Library serves city of Richland residents, as well as students attending Columbia Basin College, Washington State University Tri-Cities and Richland School District students who live outside city limits.

Nonresident library cards are available for a fee.
