Nine Tri-Cities businesses have emerged from a competitive field of applicants to be named this year’s Best Places to Work.

Each year, the Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business shines a spotlight on the region’s top employers who are creating exceptional workplace cultures that truly stand out.

To ensure a fair and rigorous evaluation, the Journal of Business partners with Workforce Research Group, a nationally recognized firm that specializes in measuring employee satisfaction and engagement across the U.S.

Participating organizations go through an in-depth survey process that puts their workplace practices to the test – and this year’s honorees rose to the top.

“It isn’t a popularity contest. Employees are ranking their employers through these anonymous surveys,” said Tiffany Lundstrom, associate publisher for sales at the Journal of Business.

The 2025 winners are:

  • Baker Boyer
  • Children’s Developmental Center
  • Columbia Ability Alliance
  • GFG Financial
  • INTERA Inc.
  • Jacob and Rhodes – Heating and Air Conditioning
  • Paintmaster Services Inc.
  • Petersen Hastings Wealth Advisors
  • Windermere Group One

A Nov. 13 awards program will reveal which of the nine companies ranked highest on the list.

The breakfast event, which runs from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., features keynote speaker Greg Kettner, who will talk about cultivating a vibrant “WorkHappy” culture in the workplace.

“The Best Places to Work event is more than an awards ceremony. It’s a chance to be inspired by the region’s top employers, connect and network with local leaders and recognize the people-first cultures that drive success. You won’t want to miss it,” Lundstrom said.

Lundstrom said another benefit of attending the ceremony is to learn more about what it takes to be named a Best Place to Work so companies can plan to participate in the program next year.

Tickets are now on sale for the ceremony, which will be at the Three Rivers Convention Center, 7016 W. Grandridge Blvd., Kennewick. Go to: tcjournal.biz/BPTW.
