Already looking ahead to next summer’s vacation? Alaska Airlines is adding two new nonstop flights from Seattle to Europe in May 2027.
The two new routes will go to Athens, Greece, and Paris, France, two destinations that are among the most requested by Alaska’s Atmos Rewards members, the airline said in a release.
The two routes are seasonal, running from late spring through the fall, and main cabin seats can be bought at an introductory rate of just under $1,000 through Aug. 26.
The Seattle-Athens route will launch May 12, and will operate three times a week through October 2027. It will be the longest route Alaska has ever flown, at 11 hours and 50 minutes nonstop. The route also will be the West Coast’s only nonstop Athens flight.
The Seattle-Paris route will begin service May 25. The 10-hour flight will run five times per week through October 2027. Paris is also one of the most searched destinations on alaskaair.com, the company said in its announcement.
Alaska also has nonstop service from Seattle to Iceland, London, Rome, Seoul and Tokyo, with plans to add at least five more intercontinental destinations by 2030. The company is Seattle’s largest international carrier.
The Tri-Cities Airport in Pasco offers multiple daily flights to Seattle.
