The westbound lane of the Swift Boulevard and Wright Avenue roundabout in Richland will be closed from Aug. 4-15 with detours in place.
Courtesy city of RichlandIf your commute takes you through central Richland, you may want to consider an alternative route for the next two weeks.
The city of Richland is nearing completion on the suite of traffic projects it’s undertaken this summer, and the next portion requires the westbound lane of the roundabout at Swift Boulevard and Wright Avenue to be closed from Aug. 4-15.
Detour signs will be in place to help guide drivers whose trips take them through the roundabout.
Several roundabouts as well as other traffic safety improvements are part of the city’s Systemic Stop-Controlled Intersection Safety Improvement Project. All are aimed at improving traffic flow but also safety for pedestrians and cyclists. Go to: ci.richland.wa.us.
