Business owners wanting to know where candidates for Tri-City area city councils and port boards of directors stand on economic issues can review the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce’s online voting guide.

The chamber recently published online responses to its 2025 Vote for Business Primary Candidate Questionnaire. The document does not endorse specific candidates but is designed to highlight how candidate positions integrate with local business priorities.

Thirty-four candidates are pursuing 14 seats across the city councils for Kennewick, Pasco, Richland and West Richland, as well as the ports of Benton and Kennewick, in the August primary.

Ballots have been mailed and must be in a ballot drop box by 8 p.m. Aug. 5.

Voters also can review the official voter’s guide provided by Benton and Franklin counties online.
