Generational Care

What has been your/your company’s most significant success over the last 12 months?

Our organization has been strengthening both our impact and infrastructure while completing a transformative rebrand as Generational Care, better reflecting who we are and the full scope of services we provide. We expanded Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels through significant fundraising, opened a new Home Care Services facility in Ellensburg, completed remodels in Clarkston and Yakima, and launched Healthy Ages along with our inaugural Caregiver Conference while growing responsibly to meet the needs of people across generations.

What was your first job, and what did you learn from it?

My first job was waitressing, and it’s where I truly learned what customer service means. It wasn’t just about getting the order right, it was about making people feel seen, cared for and valued, even on the busiest days.

What is your favorite Tri-Cities restaurant and what do you order there?

I love Rocco’s Pizza in Kennewick. I usually start at their salad bar and then dive into a slice of their Pickle Face pizza, because everything is better with a pickle on it.

Name one thing about yourself you want people to know

My work is something I genuinely love. It’s meaningful, it’s energizing, and I feel incredibly blessed to do it, but it’s not what defines me. My identity is grounded in my faith, which shapes how I lead, how I treat people, and how I navigate both success and challenges. And at the end of the day, my greatest joy and priority is my family. They are my anchor, my motivation, and the reason I strive to live and lead with integrity and heart.

If you had one wish for the Tri-Cities, what would it be?

One wish I have for the Tri-Cities is that our three communities can come together and work hand in hand to create more shared experiences around art, museums and great food, things that naturally bring people together. I’d love to see us thrive in ways that celebrate culture, connection, and everything that makes this place feel so deeply like home.
