The Montana-based company building a multimillion indoor greenhouse in Pasco has named a new CEO as part of a cost-saving restructuring plan. The changes won't affect plans to open the Pasco greenhouse at 950 S. Elm Ave. It is on track to begin seeding plants in early January.

Employer groups in Washington state recently filed a lawsuit challenging the Environmental Protection Agency’s new water quality standards for Washington state. The suit alleges the EPA’s standards are “so stringent that compliance cannot even be measured, much less achieved.”

Bechtel recently reached a key milestone in its quest to turn hazardous Hanford waste into vitrified glass.
