Information

Location: Virtual

Event Description

Learn from an international TEDx Speaker Coach and an Emmy Award-Winny VP. One represents traditional media and thoughtful well-planned speeches. The other represents the TEDx perspective -- presenting well-formed ideas in under 18 minutes.

Different perspectives with different advice. Watch the sparks fly from these pros in a panel facilitated by Jessica Morgan of the PRSA.

You will learn how to:

  • Identify an audience and tailor messages
  • Coach executives
  • Advise speakers who need to deliver complex messages
  • Decide if/when to use teleprompters and other presentation aids
  • Engage virtual audiences
  • Alter body language for virtual vs. live settings
  • Prepare your speaker for difficult questions

All registrants will receive early access to the video recording afterward and a list of top tips, tricks and apps.

Cost: free for PRSA Mid-Columbia Chapter members, $10 for PRSA National members and $15 for non-PRSA members.
