• 6:30 p.m. March 18, Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive, “Code Name Helen” by Ariel Lawhon. “Spook” by Mary Roach is the April 15 book. The group typically meets the third Monday of the month. Contact: Sue Spencer, [email protected] or 509-572-4295.  

• 1 p.m. March 20, Mid-Columbia Libraries, Pasco branch, 1320 W. Hopkins St., Pasco, “A Fever in the Heartland” by Tim Egan. “The Covenant of Water” by Abraham Verghese is the April 17 book. The group typically meets the third Wednesday of the month. Contact Susan Koenig at 509-302-9878 or [email protected].  

• 1:30 p.m. March 21, Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive, “The Other Einstein” by Marie Benedict. “Genghis Khan” by Jack Weatherford is the April 18 book. The Thursday Afternoon Book Group meets on the third Thursday of each month from September through May. This book club does not meet during the summer months. The books for the coming year are selected by club members at an off-site meeting in June. Contact: Evelyn Painter, 509-942-8577.

• 7 p.m. the first Friday of the month, Caterpillar Cafe at Adventures Underground, 227 Symons St., Richland. Contact Sarah at 509-946-9893 for upcoming titles.
