Businesses invited to workshop to learn how to do business with ports

November 29, 2016
TCAJOB Staff

Learn about doing business with the ports at an upcoming workshop in Kennewick.

The free class is from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 12 in the Bechtel Board Room at the Tri-Cities Business & Visitor Center, 7130 W. Grandridge Blvd., Kennewick.

The region’s ports – Port of Benton, Port of Kennewick and Port of Pasco – buy millions of dollars worth of products and services from area businesses each year.

Attendees will learn how to sell to the ports and be better prepared to take part in this local government marketplace. Representatives from each of the three ports will be presenting.

The Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center, or PTAC, and the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce are offering the workshop, which is sponsored by Washington River Protection Solutions.

Pre-registration is required at www.washingtonptac.org/events-workshops. For questions, contact Ashley Coronado, PTAC counselor at 509-491-3231 or [email protected].

For more information, visit www.washingtonptac.org or call 509-491-3231.
