STCU expands across Spokane, Coeur d’Alene

Liberty Lake-based STCU is rolling out the new year with the opening of a new branch and an announcement about two future branches across Spokane and Coeur d’Alene.

STCU opened its Mt. Spokane branch, located just off the roundabout near Spokane’s North Side Costco at 1734 E. Renshaw Drive, last month. The 3,470-square-foot financial center adds another location for members who currently bank at STCU’s North Spokane, Indian Trail, and Northtown Square branches.

In late 2026, STCU plans to open a Lincoln Heights branch on the northeast corner of 29th Avenue and Mt. Vernon Street, at 2807 E. 29th Ave., on Spokane’s South Hill.

In Coeur d’Alene, the credit union plans to open its sixth branch in Kootenai County at the corner of Kathleen Avenue and Highway 95. The branch is tentatively planned to open in late 2027.

Numerica to open Moses Lake branch

Numerica Credit Union has plans to open a new full-service branch in Moses Lake in fall 2026 at 323 S. Pioneer Way, across from Civic Center Park and the Moses Lake Public Library.

The Moses Lake location will be Numerica’s 24th branch, following recent branch openings in Liberty Lake and the Sandpoint area in 2025.

Spokane Valley-based Numerica said it is excited to return to the Moses Lake market, where it has continued to serve many local members through digital banking channels since closing its previous physical location.

“Our members in Moses Lake have always been important to Numerica,” said KayCee Murray, Numerica chief technology officer, in a release. “As digital banking adoption accelerated more than a decade ago, we adapted how we served this market. Now, as the community continues to grow and member needs evolve, we’re reintroducing a physical branch to complement the digital experience our members already rely on.”

Numerica currently operates 23 branches across central and eastern Washington and northern Idaho and serves members throughout the region with a strong focus on community involvement and financial education.
