Kuki Izakaya, a new upscale and modern K-pub and izakaya style restaurant, is now open at Kennewick’s Vista Field.

The 3,500-square-foot eatery at 697 Crosswind Blvd. offers a K-pub style dining destination and refined izakaya tradition that’s crafted for an intimate, elevated dining experience.

“K-pub” refers to Korean-inspired gastropubs while “izakaya” refers to casual Japanese taverns or gastropubs.

Menu items include king salmon poke bowl, crispy chili shrimp pasta, K-crispy chicken or tofu bowls, kimchi friend rice with pork galbi, pork katsu and cheesy spicy chicken carbonara gratin. A variety of sake is also on the menu.

Na and her husband BK Hong are the restaurant owners. It is their third restaurant, but only Kuki Izakaya is under the KUKI LLC name, according to the state Department of Revenue.

The single-story building includes one space and features an interior design described as “traditional Korean elegance reimagined with modern minimal luxury.”

Construction Services of Washington served as the general contractor.

The project was designed by Kyle Lepper and Karly Ennis of LPR Architecture.
