Ben Franklin Transit’s board of directors will meet ahead of its regular meeting April 9 to review and discuss findings of a special investigation.

Thomas Drozt
Board members will meet in a special meeting at 4:30 p.m. and immediately move into a closed-door session to discuss the findings, which presumably are about CEO Tom Drozt, who has been on paid administrative leave since Feb. 6.
BFT launched an investigation into its top administrator following allegations of financial mismanagement amid tensions with the union representing most of the agency’s staff.
After the closed meeting, the board will then reconvene in public session and is expected to take action.
The meeting will be in the agency’s boardroom at the 1000 Columbia Park Trail in Richland. The regular board meeting is at 6 p.m.
Brian Lubanski, BFT’s chief experience officer, has been serving as interim CEO.
