A Tri-Cities retirement community and a faith community have teamed up to collect supplies for those affected by wildfires in the Pacific Northwest. 

Bonaventure of Tri-Cities has partnered with C3 Tri-Cities’ community donation drive to serve as an additional donation drop-off location due to the church’s limited weekday hours, according to a release.  

“When our neighbors are hurting, we don’t wait to be asked – we open our doors,” said Shay Larsen, sales manager for Bonaventure of Tri-Cities. “Our team lives and works in this community, and we’re grateful to stand alongside C3 Tri-Cities to make it easier for everyone to help families get back on their feet.” 

The following items are in need at this time: 

Personal care & hygiene 

• Socks and underwear 
• Deodorant 
• Toothbrushes and toothpaste 
• Hairbrushes 
• Dry shampoo 

Clothing 

• Sweatpants 
• T-shirts, pants, and shoes (adult and child sizes) 

Babies & families 

• Diapers 
• Formula 

Pets 

• Pet food and supplies 

Other essentials 

• Gas cards 

Donations can be left at Bonaventure located at 1800 Bellerive Drive in Richland between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. seven days a week. C3 will accept donations at its location at 150 Gage Blvd., also in Richland, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
