3 Rivers Community Foundation has announced the launch of its 2026 Meet the Moment Campaign, a community fundraising effort supporting nonprofits serving Benton and Franklin counties. 

Trade associations, community groups and individuals are stepping up to help graduating seniors from Tri-Tech Skills Center start their future careers or next level of training off on the right foot. 

One of the Mid-Columbia’s leading boosters for the region’s business community and entrepreneurs, is the 2026 Tri-Citian of the Year. 

Forty graduating seniors from across the greater Tri-Cities area with career aspirations ranging from business and finance to STEM and law recently received $230,000 in scholarships from a long-running academic program. 

From specialized medical equipment to scholarships, the March 26 fundraising breakfast for the Kadlec Foundation secured donations to support Kadlec Regional Medical Center and help it serve the region’s health care needs. 

Both individuals, who have built upon their families’ long-standing Tri-Cities legacies through philanthropy, community involvement and business leadership, were honored at the annual awards ceremony on Feb. 23. 

Richland-based Gesa Credit Union is putting $150,000 up for grabs as it begins accepting applications for scholarships. 

Everything from toys and clothes to food and cash makes its way to numerous charitable causes during the holiday season. And that’s why two state agencies are offering resources to make sure Washingtonians’ generosity goes to legitimate causes. 

Gesa Credit Union is kicking off its annual Holiday Gift Drive and is hoping the community will help it meet its goal of providing 500 gifts to several nonprofits. 

For three weeks, Tri-Citians can donate to five local and two international nonprofits in a unique way – via a vending machine.
