Tri-Tech students earn $37K in scholarships

Trade associations, community groups and individuals are stepping up to help graduating seniors from Tri-Tech Skills Center start their future careers or next level of training off on the right foot. 

More than 40 students will receive 55 total scholarships at the career and technical education magnet school’s annual scholarship awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. May 20 at the school. Individual scholarships range in value from $500 to $1,500 each. Several students earned multiple awards with Philip Benson of Hanford High School earning the most scholarship money at $3,000.

Bechtel Forum for Service Veterans, Reservists and the Military Scholarships ($1,000 each)

Columbia Safety Scholarships ($500 each)
