• 6 p.m. Oct. 4, Caterpillar Cafe, 227 Symons St., Richland. This group typically meets the first Friday of the month. Contact Sarah at 509-946-9893 for upcoming titles.

• 6 p.m. Oct. 15, Mid-Columbia Libraries, West Pasco branch, 7525 Wrigley Drive, Pasco. The Page Turner’s Book Club will be reading books by Stephen King.

• 1 p.m. Oct. 16, Mid-Columbia Libraries, Pasco branch, 1320 W. Hopkins St., Pasco. The Pasco Book Talk will be discussing “The Magical Language of Others” by E. J. Koh. “The Three-Year Swim Club” by Julie Checkoway is the Nov. 20 book. The group typically meets on the third Wednesday of the month. Contact Susan Koenig at 509-302-9878 or [email protected]. 

• 1:30 p.m. Oct. 16, Prosser Community Center, 1231 Dudley Ave., Prosser. Bring Your Own Book Book Club.

• 5:30 p.m. Oct. 17, Mid-Columbia Libraries, Kennewick branch, 1620 S. Union St., Kennewick. Bring Your Own Book Book Club.

• 1:30 p.m. Oct. 17, Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive, “The Wren, The Wren” by Anne Enright. “The Engineer’s Wife” by Tracey Emerson Wood is the Nov. 20 book. The Thursday Afternoon Book Group meets on the third Thursday of each month from September through May. This book club does not meet during the summer months.

• 6:30 p.m. Oct. 21, Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive, “The Measure” by Nikki Erlick. “The Girl with the Louding Voice” by Abi Dare is the Nov. 18 book. The Monday Night Book Club typically meets on the third Monday of the month. Contact: Sue Spencer, [email protected] or 509-572-4295.

• 6 p.m. Oct. 22, Mid-Columbia Libraries, Benton City branch, 810 Horne Drive Benton City. This month’s book is, “A Slow Fire Burning” by Paula Hawkins.

• 2 p.m. Oct. 26, Mid-Columbia Libraries, held at the temporary location at 6725 Road 170 (old fire hall building), Mesa. Bring your Own Book Book Club. Club seeks readers of all genres. Come chat about books you have enjoyed lately.

• 5:30 p.m. Oct. 29, Mid-Columbia Libraries, Kennewick Branch, 1620 S. Union St.,
Kennewick. Read the Rainbow: LGBTQ+ and Allies Book Club. Bring any book.
