

Wildhorse Resort & Casino has partnered with XCharge to bring four EV chargers to an Oregon travel plaza.
Courtesy Wildhorse Resort & CasinoElectric vehicle drivers along Interstate 84 can now power up before tackling Cabbage Hill and the long stretches of Eastern Oregon highways, thanks to the opening of a new charging station in Pendleton, Oregon.
The station is the first solar-plus-storage DC fast-charging station in the state.
EV charging company XCharge North America partnered with Wildhorse Resort & Casino to bring the four GridLink chargers to Wildhorse’s Arrowhead Travel Plaza at 72485 Highway 331. The plaza serves over 1.7 million vehicles a year.
“This project supports the Tribe’s dedication to sustainable practices and our mission to deliver a forward-thinking experience for all guests and travelers,” said Gary E. George, CEO at Wildhorse Resort & Casino, in a news release.
The Texas-based XCharge serves customers in 18 states.
