Students in Pasco School District’s construction trades program have completed their latest home – and it’s now on the market.

The 2,016-square-foot house is at 8413 Ashen Drive. It was unveiled to student families, school and district staff, business partners and community members during a dedication event on May 28.

The home’s open floor plan combines living, dining and kitchen spaces, according to the property’s real estate listing. It boasts three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a half bathroom. It features a flex room and two-car garage as well as a covered porch in the front and a covered patio in the back.

“Every corner of this property showcases the creativity and skill of its young builders,” read the listing. “From thoughtful design elements to practical features, the students’ hands-on experience in crafting and constructing this home has resulted in a unique living space that truly embodies the effort and enthusiasm of Team Pasco.”

The 2,016-square-foot home features an open-concept floor plan with three bedrooms, a flex room, a covered patio, a spacious laundry area, and an extra-deep two-car garage. It is listed for $524,900.

The district's construction trades program is aimed at providing students with real-world experience. In addition to completing the latest home, one of its students, Gavin Frank of Chiawana High School, was offered an apprentice carpenter internship with Bouten Construction, with a starting wage of over $40 per hour and benefits. Gavin will help build Pasco’s upcoming aquatic center.

The house is listed for $525,000. Those interested in the home can contact Vicki Monteagudo at Century 21 Tri-Cities.
