Lottery officials suggest where to find a pot of gold in the Tri-Cities

Forget about picking the right numbers to finally get that lotto win, maybe you just need to be buying your tickets from the right place.

Washington’s Lottery recently named the 10 Tri-City retailers that sold the most winning tickets worth $1,000 or more in 2025. And grocery stores dominated the list, taking seven spots total.

The one that sold the most winning tickets? That would be the Yoke’s Fresh Market at 1401 Bombing Range Road in West Richland, which sold 10 winning tickets last year. Two other Yoke’s locations also were on the list, with the Pasco store on Road 68 coming in fourth place (in a four-way tie) with five winning tickets and the Kennewick location on 27th Avenue coming in 10th place with three wins.

Second place had a tie with both selling six winning tickets: Fred Meyer at 2811 W. 10th Ave. in Kennewick and the Maverik convenience store at 3520 Keene Road in Richland. It was also the sixth year the Fred Meyer store made it on the list.

The other three fourth-place retailers along with the Pasco Yoke’s location were Winco Foods at 4602 W. Clearwater Ave. in Kennewick; Fred Meyer at 101 Wellsian Way in Richland; and Rocket Mart at 5304 W. Canal Drive in Kennewick.

The Safeway at 5204 W. Clearwater Ave. in Kennewick and Sunrise Food Mart at 620 N. 28th Ave. in Pasco tied for eighth place with four winning tickets each.
