26 local leaders selected for Leadership Tri-Cities Class

Leadership Tri-Cities has announced the names of 26 local leaders who will make up its next class.

The hands-on learning program aims to bring together people from across the region to explore the biggest issues facing the Tri-Cities. 

Over the next year, members of Class 29 will take part in in-depth sessions focused on topics like health care, education, agriculture, arts and local government. They’ll also attend leadership development workshops and retreats to strengthen their personal and professional skills.

Class 29 Director Kendra Palomarez called the class “a dynamic group of community-minded, ambitious individuals.” 

“I’m excited to guide them on this journey and watch them develop into even stronger leaders for our community,” she said in a release.

The members of Class 29 are:

  • Tracie Boothe, membership director, Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce
  • Doug Burkes, director of research operations, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
  • Danika Campos, agriculture account executive, Highstreet Insurance and Financial Services
  • Will Carpenter, Field Intelligence Element operations division director, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
  • Ray Castaneda, students in transition resource navigator, Kennewick School District
  • Josh Darby, artistic and education director, Academy of Children’s Theatre
  • Kirsten Finn, convention development manager, team lead, Visit Tri-Cities
  • Amy Gadd, deputy CFO & controller, Hanford Mission Integration Solutions
  • Rob Gierke, general manager, VenuWorks of Kennewick
  • Kaylyn Gomez, clinic operations manager, Tri-Cities Community Health
  • Chris Hollingsworth, owner/certified residential appraiser, Hollingsworth Valuation Services
  • Crystal Leander, senior clinic manager of operations, Kadlec Regional Medical Center
  • Damian Magana, assistant site manager, Tri-Cities Community Health
  • Isaac Marroquin, financial aid outreach specialist, Columbia Basin College
  • Nicole Marshall, bereavement supervisor, Tri-Cities Chaplaincy
  • Samantha May, head of school, Sagebrush Montessori
  • Alejandra Mendoza, assistant principal, Pasco School District
  • Lupe Mota, migrant program director, Educational Service District 123
  • Rebekah Norman, owner/massage therapist, self-employed
  • Alejandro Olea, marketing coordinator, Ben Franklin Transit
  • Carol Riggio, director of quality, patient safety and infection prevention, Trios Health
  • Minnie Rogenkamp, executive assistant, Benton Franklin Humane Society
  • Frank D. Roth, general manager/head winemaker, Tagaris Winery
  • Justin Saltz, divisional programs manager, Columbia Ability Alliance
  • Dlovan Schatlo, staff attorney, Northwest Justice Project
  • Meggan Tjarks, special events & corporate engagement director, Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties
