What has been your/your company’s most significant success over the last 12 months?

Entering our 66th year in the Tri-Cities and the friends we have made along the way.

Did you go to college? If so, what degree did you earn? If not, did you receive any training that has furthered your career?

After attending Columbia Basin College I went to Washington State University Tri-Cities with the plan of becoming a school teacher. Ended up dropping out (with my parents’ permission) because I had made half of a teacher’s salary in a weekend selling real estate.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?

From my mom, if you always tell the truth, you never have to remember what lie you told!

To whom or where do you go for sound business advice?

My dad. He has led by example for our family and our business.

What was your first job, and what did you learn from it?

The Carmelcorn Shop in the Columbia Center mall. Working with people and how to be responsible.

Name one item on your bucket list.

To live as long as my Grandma Freda (105).

Name one thing about yourself you want people to know.

It’s never too late to volunteer and make our community a better place.

What is your favorite Tri-Cities restaurant and what do you order there?

Swampy’s BBQ, everything.

Is your company using AI in some capacity, and if so, how?

Yes. It’s faster than asking my wife and then having 15 follow-up questions to answer.

If you had one wish for the Tri-Cities, what would it be?

For it to never feel like a big city.
