Richland street to close overnight

Photo by Nathan FinkeAs work on the intersection of Steptoe Street and Tapteal Drive in Richland nears completion, overnight closures are planned for this weekend.
Steptoe will be closed between Canyon Street and the Columbia Park Trail roundabout from 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 to 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8.
During this time, drivers detour routes will be posted and drivers should allow extra travel time.
The project, which is expected to wrap up in mid-August, will improve traffic flow, safety and infrastructure once it’s complete, the city said.
