A Montana-based RV and boat dealer is launching its first Tri-Cities location, the company’s seventh location and its westernmost dealership. The Tri-Cities location opens its doors today, May 22. 

Founded in Missoula, Montana, in 1967, Bretz RV & Marine first expanded to Washington in 2024 with a location in Liberty Lake.  

The Tri-Cities location is at 816 N. 28th Ave. in Pasco. It was the location of Northwest Motorsports, which suddenly shuttered all its dealerships statewide and went out of business in January 2024, resulting in 142 people losing their jobs. The auto dealer blamed the state of the used vehicle market at the time as the impetus behind the closures.

Bretz plans to employ about 30 people when fully operational. Several open positions at the Pasco location are listed on the Bretz RV website.  

The location will sell RVs, including brands such as Brinkley, Grand Design, Ember and Tiffin Motorhomes, and boats, including the brands Chaparral Boats and Sylvan Pontoons. The company offers more than 75 different RV and boat brands.  

The Pasco dealership also will have five service bays and a dedicated parts department.
