It’s three months until Halloween and one of the holiday’s primary retailers has announced which vacant Tri-Cities storefronts it will bring back from the dead for the season. 

Spirit Halloween’s store locator map identifies three planned locations for its seasonal stores. 

This year’s locations will be: 

• 1901 N. Steptoe St. in Kennewick, a former Rite Aid location. 
• 1321 N. Columbia Center Blvd., Suite 455A, in Kennewick, a former Sears location. 
• 1717 George Washington Way in Richland, a former Office Depot location. 

The company has not announced opening dates for the Tri-City stores but signs are already up. It is actively hiring for seasonal positions, according to its website. 

Nationally, Spirit Halloween typically begins opening its stores in early August. In the past, the retailer’s itinerant stores have employed 50,000 people nationwide to operate them.
