Four statewide business advocacy groups will host a virtual briefing on potential tax issues expected in the 2027 legislative session.

The webinar, “2027 Tax Threats & the Legislative Outlook: A Business Community Briefing,” is at 11 a.m. Aug. 25.

It is being organized by the Association of Washington Business, Washington Retail Association, Washington Beverage Association and Washington Hospitality Association.

Participants can expect to hear an overview of potential tax proposals and what they could mean for employers and how the business community can engage as the legislative session approaches.

State Rep. April Berg will share insights on Washington’s fiscal outlook and expectations for the 2027 legislative session.

Those wishing to attend should RSVP by email to [email protected]. Registered attendees will receive the webinar link about 24 hours before the event.
