The Tri-Cities’ only Catholic-focused retail store is listed for sale, along with the downtown Kennewick building that houses the home to thousands of faith-focused items.
A group of investors has bought T Lake Ranch outside Connell, the largest contiguous piece of property in Franklin County, according to the national real estate brokerage firm that handled the $18 million sale.
With nearly three-quarters of the Benton REA’s 12,000 members and 64% of its work orders being in and around West Richland, moving the utility to the future headquarters to West Richland is expected to bring quicker service times to most of its members, as well create cost-saving efficiencies, among other benefits.
The Building Code Council says it is making a “good faith effort” to comply. Supporters say some rules can’t be enforced when the measure takes effect in December.
