A Tri-Cities developer and business owner recently completed construction on Keller Apartments in Kennewick.

The complex at 953 S. Keller St. features four units and 12 storage units.

The two-story building was designed to complement the existing building on the same parcel. It is a modern garden-style apartment complex, with a touch of tradition and features 6,288 square feet of space.

This was a building fill-in, meaning there were an existing eight units on the property and it was zoned for more. The building cost $972,000.

Jason Zook, owner of Smile-A-Mile Painting in Kennewick, built the apartment complex. He’s been building in the Tri-Cities since 2014, with a focus on providing a variety of housing units, from single- to multifamily and commercial buildings, to help and improve housing supply in Central Washington.

“I have been investing in the community and business for the past decade and hope to make an impact for the future and for future generations. This is a great community and has great potential for growth,” Zook said.

The architect was DKEI Architectural Services of Richland.

The project was completed May 1.
