The Richland campus welcomed 120 more students, an 8.1% increase, for the fall 2025 term, bringing its overall headcount to 1,609, according to a release. Its first-year student growth was even higher at 11.1%. Graduate enrollment grew 15.5%.
Only WSU’s online Global Campus saw comparable growth, welcoming 125 new first-year students this fall, a 14.7% increase compared to the prior fall. WSU said total enrollment for the Global Campus “dipped modestly” compared to last fall, though the online platform remains its second largest campus.
WSU’s main campus in Pullman and satellite campuses in Vancouver and Spokane saw gains in specific programs, but their overall enrollments were largely flat.
The Everett campus saw its overall enrollment increase 6.8%, reaching 253 students.
Overall enrollment across the WSU system remained nearly flat year-over-year, declining less than a percentage point from 25,685 students in fall 2024 to 25,477 this fall.
