509-344-1261 Kristina Lord has more than two decades of journalism experience and joined the Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business and Senior Times in July 2016. Kristina spent more than 17 years at the Tri-City Herald and also worked at weekly newspapers in Prosser, Grandview and Yelm. She’s a longtime member of the Society of Professional Journalists’ William O. Douglas chapter and a board member of Warrior Sisterhood, a Tri-Cities Cancer Center support group. She and her husband have two daughters and a dog named Yogi. |

509-344-1286 Ty Beaver joined the Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business as a reporter in November 2024. He has more than 10 years’ experience as a journalist, with nearly five years at the Tri-City Herald and nearly six years at the Herald & News in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He also worked for two years at the Kennewick School District handling their social media before joining the Richland School District heading up their communications department. He holds bachelor’s degrees in journalism and English from the University of Kansas. He lives in Kennewick with his wife, two daughters and two cats. |

He earned a bachelor degree in digital technology from Washington State University Tri-Cities and an associate degree from Columbia Basin College. He worked for seven years at Yoke’s Fresh Market and as an intern for Northwest Public Broadcasting. |
