Elijah Family Homes has completed a $45,000 remodel of a two-story building to create office space, a break room, community room, conference room, storage and bathrooms in support of its growing mission.

The nonprofit provides mentoring, case management, housing and other services to families seeking recovery. Its Parent Child Assistance Program and its Transition to Success Program both work with families for up to three years.

It carried out the work itself and held a grand opening on May 20. Its new home is near Zintel Creek Golf Club.
