The Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce has singled out a leader at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and a local credit union team for their diversity and inclusion work.

The chamber presented its Champion of Diversity awards during the annual Tri-Cities Diversity Summit on June 26 at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.

The individual award went to Evangelina Shreeve, chief diversity officer at PNNL, and the organization award went to Numerica Credit Union. They came with a trophy and a professionally crafted video showcasing the honorees’ efforts.

The diversity summit is an annual half-day event aimed at helping professionals create more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces.
