A multi-tenant commercial flex building in Richland will be move-in ready by Jan. 1.

Travis Matson, Ben Matson and Teresa Matson have built the Leslie Road Flex Space Business Center at 3121 Leslie Road.

It features 57,736 square feet and 21 units, ranging in size from 1,904, 3,808 and 4,424 square feet.

The fully finished modern commercial flex space building combines the raw, utilitarian elements of industrial design with the sleek, polished features of modern aesthetics.

Office space will be fully finished with carpeting, cove base, painted walls and LED lighting.

Warehouse space will be fully finished and have 8-foot metal liner paneling on the walls, painted drywall above the metal paneling, concrete floors, LED lighting and 14-foot tall insulated overhead doors.

All units include at least one dedicated office space, a storefront door, a private restroom, and a large warehouse area.

Property highlights include abundant parking on site, 20-foot ceilings in warehouse area, 14-foot tall insulated overhead doors that provide access for large vehicles and fire alarm, fire sprinkler and exterior security camera systems.

Hummel Construction and Development LLC is the general contractor.

DKEI Architectural Services of Richland was the designer.

The Tri-Cities-based Flex Space Business Centers’ founders are Travis Matson and Ben Matson, who have been in the construction/real estate industry for more than 20 years.

“We started Flex Space with the vision to help small to large businesses with industrial warehouses and an office space that had a storefront. We have seen how hard it is for up and coming businesses to have to commit to a traditional long-term lease. Our goal is to offer you a high-quality solution for your flex space needs in the best locations. We at Flex Space offer only a one- to three-year lease commitment required at a time. We are here to serve businesses that cannot lock into a traditional five-year lease,” the owners said in a statement.

Units rent for $15 to $16.20 per square foot per year with discounted rates on longer-term leases.
