A demand for more affordable housing prompted the addition of more homes at Jubilee Foundation’s complex at 3209 E. A St., Pasco.

The Tierra Vida Apartment Complex features 160,000 square feet of space. It offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units.

Intentionally built on discarded land, the initiative embraced values of redemption, restoration and new life.

Single-family homes and multifamily units were established alongside a recreation center, Collegium Cafe and a community garden, all of which serve as “third spaces” for neighbors to gather, build relationships and learn to welcome and serve one another.

The complex has 120 units between four three-story buildings.

The project cost $24 million, not including land.

Rent ranges from $915 to $1,720 monthly depending on apartment size and income.

The project is expected to be completed by Sept. 1.

Elite Construction & Development in Pasco is the general contractor.

Bernardo Wills of Spokane is the architect.

The leasing office is at 3209 E. A St., Pasco. Call 509-380-0964.
