The Tri-Cities’ much anticipated second Costco opened Aug. 8 in Richland.

The membership-only warehouse is located at 3125 Queensgate Drive in a busy retail corridor anchored by Target, Walmart and Home Depot. 

Construction on the new warehouse has been underway since late 2024, when Costco signed a lease for the land with the state Department of Natural Resources. 

The building permit for the 182,644-square-foot building was valued at $24.6 million. 

Richland Costco services include a gas station, tire service center, food court, pharmacy, optical department and hearing aids.

Lydig Construction of Spokane is the general contractor.

MG2 of Seattle is the architect.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
