Overturf Kia’s new 30,000-square-foot Pasco showroom and offices at 9575 St. Thomas Drive were designed to give customers a “state-of-the-art Kia experience.”

“We were totally out of room at the Kennewick location. As Kia continues to grow in popularity, our sales volume is growing with it. Our service facility in Kennewick had become overwhelmed for its size, with nowhere to expand, building a new store was really the only option,” according to Overturf Kia.

The two-story building features a new car showroom, sales offices, customer service center, customer waiting lounge and parts retail counter. The main floor was all done to Kia specifications. The second-floor houses executive offices, an accounting office, executive meeting room, parts storage and two employee lunchrooms.

The building opened in mid-June, but it is still not totally finished as some special features and furniture are still coming.

The project cost, including land, building, paving, furniture and service shop equipment, totaled $12.5 million.

Doug Overturf is the owner of Overturf Motor Co. Inc., which owns Overturf Volkswagen in Kennewick and Overturf Kia in Pasco.

LCR of Richland is the general contractor.

LPR Architecture of Kennewick is the architect.
